Day 1

Jammu – Srinagar

Day 2

Srinagar- Gulmarg - Srinagar

Today after breakfast enjoy a picturesque drive to Gulmarg, the Meadow of Flowers, 2730 mts above sea level Gulmarg offers spectacular views of snow capped mountain peaks, conifer forests and green meadows; it is home to the highest 18 hole golf course of the world. Arrive Gulmarg and transfer to hotel. Enjoy a Gondola ride (Gandola ride is subject to weather conditions) to Khilanmarg (1st Phase) for a breathtaking view of Nanga Parbat. One can opt for gondola cable car ride for 2nd level too on direct payment basis, subject to availability and weather conditions .Thereafter time is free for activities on your own. Srinagar Sightseeing

Today after breakfast enjoy a Srinagar sightseeing NISHAT GARDEN Located on the bank of the Dal Lake, with the Zaberwan Mountains as its backdrop, Nishat Bagh is a garden of bliss that commands a magnificent view of the lake beneath the snowcapped Pir Panjal mountain range that stands far away to the west of the valley. The Bagh was designed and built in 1633 by Asif Khan, elder brother of Nur Jehan.

SHALIMAR GARDEN

The Shalimar Bagh is the celebrated royal garden of Kashmir. The Emperor Jahangir was so fascinated with the garden that he called it "one of the sights of Kashmir." Shalimar Bagh is located on the northeast side of Lake Dal, approximately fifteen kilometers away from the center of Srinagar. It was laid out by Jahangir as Farah Baksh ("the delightful") in 1619, while he was founding the city of Srinagar.

CHESHMA SHAHI

Cheshma Shahi ( the royal spring), also called Cheshma Shahi, is one of the Mughal gardens built around a spring by Ali Mardan, a governor of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, in 1632. The garden is located in the Zaberwan Range, near Rajbhawan (Governor's house) overlooking Dal Lake in Srinagar, Kashmir.

Srinagar- Sonmarg - Srinagar

Today after Breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Sonmarg (Golden Meadow). Sonmarg lies in Sind Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonmarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lakes. Enjoy horse riding upto Thajiwas glacier and sledge riding on snow (on direct payment). Day 5

Srinagar - Pahalgam

Today after an early breakfast leave for Pahalgam, the Valley of Shepherds via Srinagar. Drive through saffron fields; visit Awantipura ruins of an 1100 yr old temple of Lord Vishnu. Drive through the pine forest and along the Lidder River. Arrive Pahalgam and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Pahalgam

{ Aru, Betaab Valley & Chandanwari }

Aru Valley

Aru is located around 12 from Pahalgam, 11 km upstream from the Lidder River. Noted for its scenic meadows, lakes and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies of the left bank of the Aru River, which is a tributary of the Lidder River.

Betaab Valley

Betaab Valley is a very famous tourist spot situated at a distance of 15 kilometers from Pahalgam. The valley got its name from the Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab. The Valley is towards northeast of Pahalgam and falls between Pahalgam and Chandanwari and is en route Amarnath Temple Yatra. The valley surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clad mountains and covered with dense vegetation.

Chandanwari

Chandanwari is situated 16-km from Pahalgam; Chandanwari is the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, which takes place every year in the month of Sawan (Rain). It is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge. Night stay at Pahalgam.

Day 6

Pahalgam - Katra

After breakfast towards to Katra 240km journey to 6 hours' on the way visit Patnitop Sightseeing. after arriving at Katra Check into Katra Hotel.

Day 7

Mata Vaishno Devi Darshans

Early morning after breakfast, proceed for Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan- one of the most popular pilgrimages of India situated in the lap of Trikuta mountains across Katra town at an altitude of around 5200 feet. Yatra involves a trek of nearly 12 Kms from base camp at Katra known as Ban Ganga. Alternate way to perform darshans is by Ponies/Palkis/ Helicopter. If time permits, visit Bhairo Temple & return back to Katra in the evening. Overnight stay at Katra

Day 8

Katra - Shiv Khori - Katra

Early morning after breakfast, proceed for Shiv Khori - the Holy Cave abode of Lord Shiva situated at a distance of 70 Kms from Katra. The cave is a real wonder to be seen and measures nearly half a kilometer in length with a 4 feet high naturally formed Shiv-lingam at the heart of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Have darshans of Lord Shiva and back to Katra in the evening. If time permits, en route, visit Siar Baba waterfalls, Baba Dhansal & Nau Devis. Overnight stay at Katra

1. šŸ“± Cellular Connectivity Restrictions (Mandatory Government Law)

  1. Prepaid SIM Blackout: Due to strict border security regulations, all prepaid mobile connections from outside Jammu & Kashmir immediately lose signal upon entering the state.
  2. The Solution: Every traveler must use a Postpaid connection (Jio and Airtel offer the best 4G/5G coverage in the valleys) or buy a physical J&K Tourist Prepaid SIM card at the Srinagar or Jammu arrival gates using an Aadhaar card.


2. šŸš• Local Taxi Union

To protect local community livelihoods, Jammu & Kashmir operates under rigid, legally enforced regional transport unions. Vehicles registered in Srinagar or Jammu are strictly banned from conducting internal sightseeing at mountain stations. Your primary tour vehicle will only handle point-to-point intercity drops.

You must switch to local union vehicles (payable directly on-site) at the following locations:

  1. Sonamarg: Your tour cab stops at the town entrance. To visit Zero Point, Zoji La Pass, Baltal Valley, or Fish Point, you must hire a local Sonamarg Union SUV (approx. ₹3,500 – ₹5,000 per vehicle depending on the route).
  2. Pahalgam: Outside cabs can only drop you at your hotel. For visits to Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari, you must hire a registered Pahalgam Union eco-cab (approx. ₹2,500 – ₹3,500 per vehicle).
  3. Gulmarg: External vehicles are restricted to the main outer parking lot. To reach the Gondola boarding station, you must take a short walk, hire a local pony, or use an internal union eco-taxi.


3. šŸ›• Vaishno Devi Yatra Tracking

  1. Mandatory RFID Cards: The traditional paper slips have been permanently replaced. Every single pilgrim must collect a physical RFID Access Card in person at the Katra registration counter before starting the 14 km trek.
  2. Security Screening: Carrying original government-issued photo IDs (Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID) is mandatory at all checkpoints.
  3. Helicopter Weather Dependability: If you have booked a helicopter package from Katra to Sanjichhat, please note that operations are subject to sudden mountain weather changes. In case of safety cancellations, ticket refunds are processed per Shrine Board norms, but alternative pony or palki arrangements must be managed on the spot.

  1. No On-the-Spot Tickets: Tickets for the world's highest cable car—especially Phase 2 (Kungdoori to Apharwat Peak)—sell out online weeks in advance.
